Planning a Jubilee tea party or Summer Garden Party or Fete? We have a fine collection of vintage china which we’d be delighted to hire out for your event. We’re based in Oxfordshire but can easily travel to Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Northampton or Warwickshire. (Depending on your location and size of your order, a minimum order & delivery charge may apply).
Prices start at £1.40 for a place setting of a cup, saucer and tea plate. E-mail us at tea@themovingteashop.co.uk for more details.
We’ll be making our last appearance of the year this Saturday , 2 December, at East Oxford Farmers’ Market, which was a finalist in the recent BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards. As ever, we will be serving seasonal brunches, tea, coffee and cakes.
Here’s a picture of the previously-mentioned very chocolatey brownies
We’ll be back at East Oxford Farmers’ Market - at the primary school behind Tesco off the Cowley Road - between 10 and 1 this Saturday.
As ever, we’ll be serving a variety of brunches including this week bubble and squeak with ham and a fried egg and Lucy’s baked borlotti beans on toast with strong cheddar. We’ll also be offering various cakes including pear and caramel cake, St Clement’s buns and our very chocolatey brownies.
Hope to see you there!
A very nice review for The Moving Teashop from ‘Girl Eats Oxford’:
“With a variety of seasonal, tasty brunch options prepared before your eyes and the chance to drink tea from vintage china, The Moving Teashop is a winner in my eyes…”
The Moving Teashop will be back at the East Oxford Farmers’ market at East Oxford Primary School (behind Tesco on Cowley Road).
As ever we will be serving a range of brunch dishes, cakes and our own blend tea. Or you could take away something for lunch or tea.
